About Morris County Properties
Morris County has a different feel than the rest of our coverage area, and the property work reflects it. Mature trees on almost every lot. Older homes with landscapes that went in thirty, forty, sometimes fifty years ago and have been slowly outgrowing themselves ever since. Randolph, Denville, and Roxbury are full of neighborhoods built around this profile. Beautiful lots, established plantings, and maintenance needs that have been deferred long enough that a new crew coming in has real work to do before the property starts looking intentional again instead of overgrown.
Then you've got the estate areas. Chester Borough and Chester Township on the southern side of the county, Mendham Borough and Mendham Township through the horse country. Large lots, dry laid stone walls, established hardscape features, and homeowners who notice the details. Edging lines, bed shapes, cleanup standards, and whether the crew loaded out without leaving clippings on the driveway. A crew that treats estate properties the same way it treats a quarter acre in Dover ends up losing the estate work inside a season.
Most Morris County homeowners also commute, and that changes the service relationship in a way that a lot of landscape companies never figure out. NJ Transit Morristown Line and Montclair Boonton Line run stations through Denville, Dover, Morristown proper, and Mount Olive. When you're on the 7:12 train into Manhattan five days a week, property work has to happen whether you're home or not. Our crews show up on schedule, run the job, and leave the yard looking right. You check the result when you get home Friday night. (Had one Denville customer off the Indian Lake section who had fired two previous crews because they kept leaving the back bed half done when no one was watching. We ran the property for six weeks before she mentioned she had stopped checking the back because she trusted it was being done. That's the bar, and it's not that high. Most crews just don't clear it.)
One more thing worth knowing about the county: Morris commercial snow work is a real operation. Office parks along Route 10 and Route 46, retail plazas, multi unit residential, and the commercial corridors through Parsippany, Morris Plains, and the Route 287 belt all need reliable winter contractors who actually show up during a real storm instead of at noon the next day. We run commercial and residential snow clearing across the county and that work has become a bigger part of our December through February schedule every year.
Soil across Morris County runs variable. Better loam through the older established neighborhoods, rockier ground up in the Rockaway and White Meadow Lake sections, and heavier clay in pockets around the Black River and Whippany River corridors. Climate is four season real, with winters that drop enough snow to keep the plow book full and summers humid enough to push weed pressure hard from late May through September.
Towns We Serve in Morris County
Nine towns across the county, from the Warren County border east through the established Morris County core.
Mount Olive Township
About 28,000 residents. Budd Lake, Flanders, and the International Trade Center. The largest town in our Morris coverage and a regular stop on the weekly route.
Roxbury Township
Includes Succasunna and Kenvil. Horseshoe Lake, the Route 10 corridor, and established suburban neighborhoods with mature landscapes.
Randolph Township
Large affluent suburb with about 26,000 residents. Hedden Park, Ironia, and the Center Grove neighborhoods. Priority lawn care territory for us.
Rockaway Township
Green Pond, White Meadow Lake, and the Rockaway Townsquare corridor. Rocky terrain and wooded backyards that need real equipment to handle right.
Dover
Dense downtown with about 18,000 residents. Blackwell Street, the NJ Transit station neighborhood, and compact urban lots with different needs than the surrounding suburbs.
Denville Township
Affluent, about 17,000 residents. Indian Lake, Cedar Lake, and downtown Broadway. Older homes with established landscapes that reward careful maintenance.
Washington Township
Long Valley community. Schooley's Mountain area, Valley Brook, and rural horse property lots that look more like western Hunterdon than eastern Morris.
Chester
Chester Borough and Chester Township, about 8,000 combined. Historic downtown, estate level lots, and the Hacklebarney State Park corridor on the southern edge.
Mendham
Mendham Borough and Mendham Township, about 6,000 combined. Wealthy area with large estates and the furthest regular service point in our Morris coverage.
Services Available in Morris County
Residential and commercial property work across the full county. The complete menu.
Landscaping design and installations cover everything from a single bed refresh to a full property plan with plantings, beds, grading, and hardscape integration. Front yard resets on older suburban lots, backyard completions on properties that the original builder never finished, and estate level design work for the larger Chester and Mendham properties where the scale of the lot matters as much as the individual plant choices.
Mowing, weed control, and lawn services run on weekly or biweekly routes from April through October on residential and commercial accounts across the county. Spring and fall cleanup handles the transition months when leaf volume, bed prep, and seasonal detail work converge into real workload inside short calendar windows.
Commercial and residential snow clearing is a core part of the Morris County operation, especially with business owners along the Route 10 and Route 46 corridors who need reliable winter contractors to keep parking lots and walkways open through every storm. Seasonal contracts run November through the end of March with full storm coverage, salt application, and priority response on the larger commercial accounts.
Mulching, bed maintenance, hardscaping, tree removal, and gutter cleaning round out the Morris County services. Older properties sitting under decades of oak canopy carry real gutter work demand and tree risk that newer suburban developments don't generate.

Why Morris County Trusts A&G
Twenty years of work on Morris County properties. Angel has been driving into Randolph, Chester, Denville, and Mount Olive long enough to have watched landscapes go in, mature out, and come back around for a second full renovation on the same address. That kind of continuity shows up in the work. It's the difference between a crew that reads the property and one that runs the same template on every lot.
We show up when we say we will. That matters more than anything else to Morris County homeowners who commute and can't be home for every appointment. The Wednesday route hits at about the same time every Wednesday. Licensed, insured, and running crews that know how to treat a property like it belongs to them, because that's what actually keeps Morris customers from rotating to a new landscape company every other year.
More than a thousand finished projects, most of them right here in northwest Jersey. Our 4.9 star Google rating reflects real work on real properties across the county, and the reviews include homeowners in Randolph, Denville, Chester, Mendham, and most of the other towns on our Morris book. That kind of local endorsement is the only thing that actually matters for local work.
Morris County Landscaping Questions
Do you offer commercial snow plowing in Morris County?
Yes. Commercial snow plowing and clearing are a core part of our winter operation. Parking lots, office complexes, retail plazas, and multi unit properties across Morris County. Seasonal contracts run from November through the end of March with full storm coverage.
How much does landscaping cost in Morris County?
Pricing depends on the scope. A bed refresh with new plantings and mulch is a different number than a full front yard redesign with new walkways. We give you a real estimate on the first visit with no pressure to move forward on anything you don't want done.
What towns do you cover in Morris County?
Mount Olive, Roxbury, Randolph, Rockaway, Dover, Denville, Washington Township which covers Long Valley, Chester, and Mendham. Most of the central and western Morris County area including the estate corridor on the southern side.
Can you work around commuter schedules?
Yes. A lot of our Morris County customers aren't home when we work. We run the service during the day, leave the property cleaned up properly, and send a text or photo confirmation when the job is complete if the homeowner prefers that kind of update.
Do you handle large estate properties?
Yes, especially in Chester and Mendham. Multi acre lots with extensive beds, hardscape features, and regular maintenance programs are something Angel has been handling personally for years. Crews get scaled to the scope of the property instead of forcing a small lot template onto a five acre estate.
