Where We Work and Why It Matters

A&G Landscaping and Lawn Care runs out of Great Meadows in Warren County, New Jersey, and the crew covers a twenty mile radius in every direction from that base. That geography puts twenty two towns and four counties inside our regular service area. Hackettstown is home turf. Angel has been driving into properties from Allamuchy Mountain down through Mendham for more than two decades, which means if you live anywhere in northwestern New Jersey, we've almost certainly worked a lot on your street or somebody's a few houses down.

Why that local radius matters more than most landscape companies admit. A crew driving in from forty minutes away isn't on your property when the nor'easter hits Sunday night and drops a tree across the driveway. A landscape company that covers half the state on paper often ends up covering none of it well in practice because crew schedules stretch thin and response times collapse once the weather turns. Our coverage area is sized to what our trucks can actually reach on a regular route, which is the reason service stays consistent through mowing season, storm response season, and full winter snow work.

Each of the four counties on our book has its own personality. Warren County is clay soil, hardwood cover, and heavy leaf volume. Morris County is mature commuter suburbs, estate properties, and commercial snow corridors. Sussex County is lakefront slopes, wooded lots, and real elevation driven winter. Hunterdon County is stone walls, horse country, and multi acre estate work. A crew that doesn't know the difference ends up running the same generic template across all four and losing customers inside a season. (Had one Mendham customer last year who had been through three different landscape companies in two years before calling us. Each of the previous companies treated the estate like a suburban quarter acre. We walked the property, scoped the work properly, and scaled the crew to the actual lot. She's been on our weekly route ever since, and referred two neighbors inside six months. That's how this business works when it works right.)

Counties We Serve

Our coverage runs across four northwestern New Jersey counties, each with its own mix of property types, soil conditions, and seasonal challenges. Click into any county for the full town list and service details.

Warren County

Five towns served. Home county. A&G is based right here in Great Meadows, Independence Township. From Hackettstown through the Musconetcong River corridor and up into Allamuchy, we know these lots, this clay soil, and the spring drainage issues that come through every April.

Morris County

Nine towns served. Mount Olive east through Mendham. Affluent suburbs, mature tree canopies, older homes with established landscapes, and the commuter households along the NJ Transit lines that expect property work to happen on schedule whether anyone's home or not.

Sussex County

Five towns served. Lakefront properties around Lake Hopatcong and Lake Mohawk, wooded lots through Byram and Sparta, and the Newton downtown. Snow hits harder up here, and the elevation driven terrain changes how we approach most yards.

Hunterdon County

Three towns served. Clinton Township, Lebanon Township, and High Bridge Borough. Horse farms, dry laid stone walls, rolling acreage, and the larger estate lots that define the county. Our furthest southern coverage and some of our longest standing clients.

What Every A&G Service Area Has in Common

The property types change across the counties, but the service standard doesn't. Same crew, same schedule, same quality expectation whether we're working a tight Hackettstown downtown lot or a five acre Clinton Township estate. The Wednesday route hits at about the same time every Wednesday. Invoices come on the same monthly cycle. The equipment scales to the property instead of forcing a template onto every yard.

Licensed and insured on every job regardless of county. Full liability coverage, workers comp, and real crew training behind the work. When something goes wrong on a neighbor's property, which happens occasionally in this trade, the coverage is already in place and the questions get answered the same day.

A 4.9 star Google rating earned across all four counties, one job at a time. The reviews include homeowners in Hackettstown, Randolph, Sparta, and Annandale, which is the kind of geographic spread that tells you the service holds up across different property types rather than depending on one local cluster of friendly customers.

Service Area Questions

  • What counties does A&G Landscaping cover in New Jersey?

Four counties across northwestern New Jersey. Warren County is home base, and we also cover Morris County, Sussex County, and Hunterdon County. Twenty two towns in total are on our regular weekly route structure.

  • Where is A&G Landscaping based?

Great Meadows, New Jersey, on Alphano Road in Independence Township, Warren County. Centrally located to cover the full four county service area inside a twenty mile radius.

  • Do you serve towns outside your listed coverage area?

Sometimes. If your town isn't in the listed twenty two but sits near the service radius edge, call us and we'll let you know. Borderline requests get an honest yes or no on the phone instead of a stretch that ends up costing you response time when you need it most.

  • Which county has the most A&G customers?

Warren County and Morris County carry the largest share of our weekly route book. Warren because we're based here and Morris because the coverage area is dense enough to support a large volume of weekly residential and commercial accounts. Sussex and Hunterdon round out the route with their own regular service days.
